The app’s popularity in Zambia spiked when leaked videos involving David Kazadi and Mwaka went viral, sending the internet into a frenzy.
Following a police warning to the public, many users abandoned other platforms and flocked to Telegram, driving its downloads even higher as people sought to get their hands on the much-talked-about videos.
