Back in the days when Zambian music was taking shape, Petersen and Macky2 dropped ”My Girl” a banger.
This was a time when rappers was put on a spot and their delivery on a song was judged by many fans from camps. Namely the XYZ and Kopala swag camps.
My Girl was not just about a love song, the two had to literally do a silent rap battle. The challenge also was the beat which was atop, and required real power to tame.
However, the two delivered equally and ‘My Girl’ remains as one of the best collabos in the Zambian music scene.
