Kabwe Criminal Loses Hand Through A Pigeon Hole
A notorious criminal in Kabwe has lost his hand after attempting to break into a shop through a pigeon hole.
The shop, located in Kamanda, had reportedly suffered repeated thefts, prompting the owner to hire a security guard, Mr. Chabu, for protection. On the fateful night, the guard, stationed inside, heard suspicious noises outside but remained silent, waiting.
The shop has a pigeon hole designed for the owner to access the locks from inside. The thief, unaware of the guard’s presence, pushed his hand through in an attempt to open the shop. At that moment, Mr. Chabu swung a machete with full force, severing the intruder’s hand.
The criminal fled into the night, leaving his severed hand behind, and is believed to have escaped toward the Katondo area.
The shop owner is now appealing to the public to report any individual seen missing a hand in Kabwe to the nearest police station.
