Macky2 Finally Apologizes To Mya 14yrs Later For His Cold Line Diss Song
At the height of diss tracks, tensions ran high when Macky2 took things a step too far.
He dropped a cutting line, “Nibagwesa Monga Weave Ya Mya,” referring to an embarrassing moment from 2010 when Mya’s wig fell off on stage during her performance at the Born And Bred Awards.
Macky2 cleverly used this incident in his song to illustrate how he was knocking down his haters, just like Mya’s weave had fallen.
This lyric was particularly impactful and damaging to Mya, who was then a rising young female rapper. The song, titled “I Am Zed Hip Hop,” is widely regarded as one of the coldest diss tracks in Zambia, cementing Macky2’s reputation for sharp, personal punches in his music.
