Eastern Province || Disabled Man Commits Suicide Due To Lack Of Care
A 42 Year old disabled man from the Eastern Province has unfortunately committed suicide by ingesting poison.
Ken Zimba who is from Chama of Katubili village in chief Chikwa’s area after enduring a hardship to fend for himself.
According to the report from the Zambian Police, Ken Zimba’s disability had not only impacted his physical ability but his mental too.
The inadequate from his family to care for him plus his mental status led Ken Zimba to resort to taking the substance.
After being discovered, he was taken to Chigoma Rural Health post and efforts were made but he unfortunately died.
An inquiry has been opened to assertain the cause of death. He was put to rest owing to the decomposing rapid state of the body.
