Now That The National Mourning Has Been Ended By President Hichilema, What Follows?

President Hakainde Hichilema has officially ended the national mourning that has been going on for 14 days. 

The national mourning was in honor of the late 6th Zambian president, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, ECL. The funeral has been characterized by a tag of war concerning the repatriation of his remains. The current Government under Hakainde Hichilema who leads the United Party For National Development UPND. The late Lungu’s family did not agree the current president to preside over the funeral owing to the wishes of ECL.

There were some engagements from Government officials and the Lungu family represent by Makebi Zulu. Unfortunately there was no tangable agreement that was reached. Although there was a near one that saw the body almost being brought home but the family pulled out on the last minute. The family sighted a breach of the agreement by the government which lead to them pulling out.

However, there is a frenzy around the country, among citizens. The general public anticipates the government to react on some laws they think were broken during this entir time. Some crimes dig into the cyber law and as serious as treasonous as seen by netizens.
