210 Cows For Africa’s Biggest Funeral Of Zambian Farmer
Zambian Farmer’s Funeral Will Have 250 Cows And 1200 Bags Of Mealie Meal To Feed Mourners As His Last Wish.
The burial of the late Namwala’s prominent rancher; Zambian Farmer, Teddy Mukamaangwe Namainga, took place in Maala, Africa’s richest village.
Mr. Namainga passed away last Thursday at the age of 84. As per his final wishes, 210 of his favorite castrated bulls are being slaughtered to feed mourners.
During the funeral proceedings, following a schedule that includes 10 animals per day since last Thursday, 100 animals on the burial day, and additional animals in the following days.
Zambia National Service (ZNS) has been providing 30 tons (1200 bags weighing 25kg each) every day and will go on.
Furthermore, local farmers contribute to the funeral arrangements by supplying 10 liters of fresh milk every morning for breakfast, with more than 200 farmers participating in this effort.
The entire Namwala community gathers to celebrate Mr. Namainga’s life and bid farewell to a remarkable farmer.
